La Albufera (del árabe al-buhayra, "el pequeño mar") Conocidad por los romanos como Nacarum Stagnum y en los poemas árabes como Espejo del Sol, ha sido durante siglos un referente de belleza y de biodiversidad.
Albufera (from arabic al-buhayra, "the small sea") Known as Nacarum Stagnum by the Romans and as Mirror of the sun at the Arabic poems, it has been referent of beauty and biodiversity for ages.
Es uno de los humedales más importantes del mundo, declarado Parque Natural en 1986, y con una fauna y flora autóctona que deja atónito a quien la visita por primera vez. Son aproximádamente 21.000 Ha por disfrutar, 2.837 de las cuales son lago, el cual tiene uan profundidad media entre 0.5 y 2 metros.
Se encuentra situada a tan solo 10 Km al sur de la Ciudad de Valencia. Cercana a la Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, y diversos puntos de interés ecológico y turísitco.
It is one of the most important wetlands int the world, and was declared Nature Reserve in 1986. Its native flora and fauna astonish everybody who visits it for the first time. There are around 21.000 hectares for you to enjoy, 2.837 of them are a lake which has an average depth between 0.5 and 2 meters.
It lies at only 10 kilometres to the south of Valencia, near the "Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias" and other points of ecological and tourist interest.

Nuestro embarcadero fue escenario de la famosa serie de televisión Cañas y Barro en 1977.

Nuestras barcas motorizadas, con una capacidad de hasta 20 personas. Acondicionadas con parasoles que, que junto a la suave brisa característica del lago, el calor del verano deja de ser un obstáculo para deleitarse con el entorno.
Our boats are motorized, with a freight of until 20 people. Thanks to the sunshades which they are equipped with and to the gentle breeze of the lake, the hot summer it is not an obstacle to be delighted with the environment.
